Here's how it works:
Step 1: You have until August 4 to upload a video of yourself singing the song of your choice.
Step 2: On August 5 a panel of judges at WXYZ-TV will narrow the entries down to the top 10 semi-finalists.
Step 3:The top 10 finalists will come to Channel 7's Broadcast House on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 10am and will have one chance to record "The Look" by Roxette..
Step 4: From August 9 through August 16, anyone can vote to help narrow the top 10 down to 4 finalists. When you vote, you can enter to win a big screen TV from Paul’s TV…The King of Big Screen!
Step 5: The top 4 finalists will perform the song of their choice during the televised Dream Cruise Special on Saturday, August 21, 2010 from 7-9pm only on Channel 7.
Step 6: Watch the show and find out how to vote for the singer you think should be the Art Van Cruisin' Idol. During voting, everyone will have a chance to win a $500 gift card from Art Van.
The winning performer will be named the 2010 Art Van Cruisin' Idol and take home a $5,000 shopping spree from Art Van Furniture!
The top four finalists have been chosen!
Watch them perform Saturday during the Dream Cruise Special on Channel 7 from 7 to 9pm and vote for your favorite!
