Bonnie Holmes will graduate from South Lake High School with many honors. During her time at South Lake she worked very hard for her standing on the All As Honor Roll which she accomplished all four years of her high school career. On top of those grades she received many departmental awards in various classes as well as awards for her art such as 1st place in the advanced art category at her school's Festival of the Arts or her Honorable Mention at the Lakeside Palate Club Exhibit. Bonnie also dedicated three years to the marching band that made it to State Finals her junior and senior year; she also served as section leader senior year. For four years she was part of student council and served as a class officer every year and during senior year she served as class vice president and the school secretary. In National Honor Society, Bonnie dedicated to years to community service projects in and outside the school where she was treasurer and an executive board member.
Dearest to Bonnie's heart is the Drama Club. Here she spent four years, blossoming into the actress she is today. She did seven performances playing roles such as "Rusty" in "Footloose" and "Mrs.Potts" in "Beauty and the Beast". Drama Club shed light into Bonnie's life and gave her an idea of what she wanted to do with her future.
Bonnie plans to go to Wayne State University to continue to work on her acting skills. From there she plans on traveling to New York or California to pursue her acting career so that she can make a difference in the lives of others much like the actors have done who have inspired her.
