Bill Sheahan likes to have fun with friends in addition to maintaing his studies and extra curricular activities. He balanced academics with team and clubs such ans track, cross country, class council, and NHS. He was treasurer for both his senior class and NHS. In cross country he earned the Cougar Award, an acknowledgement of sportsmanship and achievement. He plans to become a biomedical engineer specifying in medical devices and prosthetics. Sheahan wants to design and effectively construct a prosthetic device to allow for perception and function based on thought and neural processes, in essence recreating loss body parts. He wants to make limb loss as well as sensory loss as little a disability as he can.
