Abel Felecan will graduate at the top of his class from Crestwood High School. He is an activate member of the National Honor Society Chapter at Crestwood, dedicating more than 125 hours of service to his school and community. He spent three years on the Varsity Tennis team and was selected as captain his senior year. He won many games and multiple medals which earned him a spot in the Dearborn All-Area Press and Guide Team as well an award for one of the top players in the Western Wayne Athletic Conference. His hard work and dedication paid off as he was selected by his coaches and teammates as the Most Valuable Player of his team. He also allotted his time during his freshman and sophomore years to the Science Olympiad Team at Crestwood, earning a first place medal in the regional tournament.
During his four years at Crestwood, Abel has taken eight Advanced Placement courses which earned him College Board's award: AP Scholar with Honors. He never missed a day of school during his four years at the high school level and has earned academic awards every trimester. He serves as a role model and mentor to his classmates and is looked up to as a symbol of excellent academic performance and scholarly achievement. He plans to major in Mechanical Engineering and work in the automotive field.
