Ashley Leppek will graduate Valedictorian from Rochester High School. Throughout the past four years, she has been involved in many activities at school. She has been a member of the Varsity Dance Team since freshman year and captain for the past two years. Ashley has received many honors while being on the Dance Team, such as All American recognition, leadership awards, and spirit awards. She was also a player on the soccer team freshmen year. Aside from athletics, Ashley has been a member of the National Honor Society, the National Society of High School Scholars, Key Club, and the Mentor Program and Mentor Council. Ashley has also participated in various volunteer activities, such as being a student volunteer at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in the Pediatrics Unit and volunteering at Senior Living Homes.
Next year, Ashley will be attending the University of Michigan with the plan to study Biology and Chemistry for a premedical foundation. After her undergraduate education, she will attend medical school and become a surgeon. Her career plans are to practice medicine in the developing countries of South America. She wants to make a positive difference in the world by treating the people who are not as fortunate to access advanced medical care.
