Eli Sherman will be graduating from Groves High School in June and will attend the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in the fall. While in high school Eli was very much a dabbler. He participated in activities as varied as varsity baseball, symphony orchestra, the debate team, and the Groves Performing Arts Company. Eli also served his community as a member of the Groves chapter of the National Honors Society. He is most proud of his work as a mentor in the Groves Big Brother Big Sister freshman mentor-ship program and in the iMatter leadership program at Pierce Elementary.
Next year at the U of M, Eli will be a member of the Honors Program in the College of Literature, Arts, and Sciences. He is not yet fully sure of his course of study but he is leaning towards either economics, physics or chemistry. After college, Eli plans to pursue either a PhD or move on to law school.
