Navneesh Pandher will graduate with International Baccalaureate recognition from the International Academy of Macomb with a perfect 4.0 and class rank of 1. She has spent her high school career In a variety of leadership roles which include the secretary for the National Art Honor Society, the public relations officer of National Honor Society, Co-Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper, and the class representative for Key Club. Navneesh has also tutored after school, been a medalist at state level for Science Olympiad, a delegate for Model United Nations, and participated in the school yearbook. Outside of her school activities she has been a student ambassador for incoming freshman, received student recognition awards in mathematics and biology, and has been published in a local magazine, Macomb Now. Her activities also include community service projects. Navneesh has volunteered at local elementary schools, at the Clinton Macomb Public Library and has worked with the nursing units at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. She also works as a tutor at Kumon with young children.
In the future she would like to continue her work in hospitals with a career in anesthesiology. She hopes to take part in undergraduate research next year. In the fall Navneesh will attend Wayne State University with the Presidential Scholarship and a member of the Honors College.
