Lilit Kazazian will graduate from AGBU Alex & Marie Manoogian, a charter Armenian school in Southfield that she has attended since preschool. In the twelve years since she immigrated to the United States, Lilit has partaken in the collective effort to enhance the resources of her small school through groups like the National Honor Society and Student Council. She is class valedictorian and has received the highest ACT score in the history of the Manoogian School. Her extracurricular interests include playing the piano at community events, singing in the school choir, and performing Armenian folk dances in the Hamazkayin Arax Dance Ensemble. She has also volunteered three consecutive summers at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System in the Physical Therapy, Audiology/SLP/ENT, and IT/Tech Departments. Lilit will enroll at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in the fall, where she plans on majoring in Cell & Molecular Biology to pursue a career in epidemiology.
